At Transition Management, we believe opportunities for professional and personal improvement are arguably as important as any other benefit offered by a prospective employer. Based on that philosophy, we have partnered with several online learning providers to offer an extensive library of online courses covering topics from First Aid to Refrigeration Systems to Leadership Skills. Although the courses are both “technical” and “non-technical”, we make the entire library available to every employee regardless of job description.
Although primarily targeted towards employees working in the field with courses such as Equipment Safety and Lockout/Tagout, courses like First Aid and Ergonomics may appeal to those working in an office space.
The Facilities Maintenance courses may seem like they’d only appeal to a tradesperson, with courses covering Refrigeration and Hydronic Systems, but for anyone who owns a home, rents an apartment or who is interested in how things work, topics like HVAC, Carpentry and Hardware might be appealing.
Unlike the more technical courses, the Professional Development category is one that while it may appeal more to administrators, courses like Health & Wellness and Writing provide a broader benefit regardless of what you do during the day.
Rewards Program
TMC recognizes that engagement with our training program makes a more knowledgeable team member; not just in your current roles, but hopefully make you a more valuable asset in ones you hold in the future. To encourage this engagement, we’ve created a Training Rewards Program to incentivize what we feel is the mutual benefit of continuing education.
Become Certified
Learning new skills in a benefit in itself, but being able to demonstrate proficiency through an accredited body can add extra weight to your resume for both current and prospective employers. Transition Management provides access to accredited facility management and maintenance courses and certification management tools through our training partner, Absorb.
If you have an interest in pursuing certain certifications, TMC will reimburse the cost of obtaining them.

- BOMI International – RPA, FMA, and/or SMA
- Green Building Certification Institute – GBCI
- LEED Accredited Professional (AP O+M);

- Board of Certified Safety Professionals – CSP, ASPOHST, CHST, CET
- Project Management Institute (PMI) – Project Management Professional
- International Facility Management Association – IFMA – Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
